The 34th China International Fur & Leather Products Fair held from January 15 to 18，at the China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing，covering an area of 16000 square meters，is considered to be one of the famous professional fairs in fur industry. During 2007，the situation of Chinese fur and leather industry was not very favourable. Unable to cope with the persisting competition，some enterprises were forced to explore other means of trade. However，experts believe that the existing companies would understand their present condition and in order to stick to their business would strengthen their position. Thus，industry sources are reckoning the year 2008 as the golden year for Fur and leather sector. The main products on show displayed were fur and leather garments and other products，fur trimmings and raw materials. Others，such as shearing，dressing and dyeing，accessories and patterns were also featured at the Fair. Traders from all over the world visited the Fair for business negotiation or participated as exhibitors. In addition，the organizers reflected that local fur and leather product market gets affected by the international economy turbulences. Thus，this was an attempt to serve Chinese fur and leather industry，and help enterprises with all the know-how and master the skill of industrial development.
